Thank goodness for forgiving police officers. They weren’t too happy when we hung 20 balloons and yards and yards of ribbons all over New York’s Bryant Park trees to help New Yorkers find last week’s Meebo meetup. After we’d secured the balloons against the wind and made sure that they’d stay in place, the officers informed us that you aren’t allowed to hang anything on the park trees (even if it’s just a wee-bit of gift-wrap ribbon around a branch).
